Enrollment & Registration

New Family

To attend Étoile Academy, families must complete a free application and submit registration documents.

Application Period

November-February

To enroll at Étoile Academy, use your phone number or email to complete an online application. There is no application fee. Submit an application between November 1st through February 28. Missed the application deadline? No worries! We accept applications all year. However, to participate in the student lottery and increase the likelihood of being accepted, apply during the application period. Applications for 2024-2025 will open on November 1st, 2023!

Lottery

March

Students who apply during the application period are selected at random for admission to Étoile Academy. Our lottery day is March 4th. Starting on March 6th, communications will be sent to families who have been accepted for the 2024-2025 school year. Students that were not accepted through the lottery will be placed on the waitlist randomly. Applications received after March 6th will be placed on the waitlist in the order they were received. If placed on the waitlist, don’t worry! If a seat becomes available, students will be selected from the waitlist and parents will be notified of the next steps.

Once accepted into our tuition-free program, families can complete registration immediately on SchoolMint to fully enroll. The following documents will need to be uploaded:

Learn about charter schools

  • A charter school is an independently run, tuition-free, public school granted greater flexibility in its operations (budget and resource allocation, hiring and developing staff, and designing their educational program) in return for greater accountability for student results.

  • Charter schools create choices for families who seek the most appropriate public school environment for their children. They operate with freedom from some of the regulations that are imposed upon district schools. Charter schools are accountable for upholding the promises made in their charters.

  • Étoile Academy Charter School will provide services for all students including students with special needs and limited English proficiency.
